| Takashi Kashiwabara. Here we have the center of attention for a whole bunch of girls hoping to become the next pop idol star. This is a fantastic cel of the Piano Shinma. Although the layer with the girls is from the same scene, it does not match this particular frame, but the visual effect is still the same as would be with the matching layer. Strangely, when the sketch was laid against the front of the cel at some point, one of the trace lines stained a line onto the paper. I've never seen that happen before! | Michiko. This was an unexpected bit of gold to find! More than a couple times in the past, I'd considered cels from this same sequence just because the minor characters are fun to collect. Two or three have come up for sale that I've seen, but I passed them up for various reasons. This one that I finally landed has the douga, matching background and hand drawn layout with it... and wasn't signifigantly more expensive than the other cels I'd seen! | Kasumi Kimihara. Here is the first of my two harmony cels. I was even more impressed with this when I finally saw it in person. I had never seen a harmony cel up close before, and I've decided I like them a lot! Unfortunately, the series I like seem to either not use the style at all, or use it only rarely. (Original production background.) | Kasumi Kimihara. Another cel of the dollmaker from episode twenty. I really like this romantic feeling image of her with the wine glass. I liked the episode quite a bit, although I truly think this character was cracked. (*laugh*) She was having a romance with a doll, after all! I'm sure there are plenty of wood jokes to be made here, but I'll restrain myself. |

| Chisato and Hiyoku. I was *SO* put out to arrive late to an update, only to see this already on hold!! I've wanted a cel of Chisato with her brother and, although I didn't have this exact scene in mind, this image is completely darling! When this was relisted on Yahoo Japan, I was amazed to win it with no competition. Due to deputy fees, it cost a little more than it would have if I'd been first to it, but not by enough that I care. That is, I'm near certain it's the same cel as the first I saw, although it could be another from the same sequence. | Chisato. This is just a great cel! The expression on Chisato's face is wonderful as she greets her brother who has long been away from home. I put this set together from two different sites. This cel was on one site, and another cel from the same sequence with the matching background was on a different site. I really thought the cel with the background was the lesser of the two cels. So I bought both, and resold the second cel to recoup some of the cost. This is one of my single favorite cels of Chisato. (Original production background.) |

| Miyu. Only once before have I gotten to pick exactly which frame I want from a whole sequence of cels, but this whole sequence was updated at the same time. It took me a while to decide between this one and one with her with her eyes wider open in shock. I heavily considered the latter, but the hair in this one won out with me. Of course, I do admit I considered not bothering to choose and just getting both. (*grin*) | Ayu. This was snapped up from an update of a lot of inexpensive Miyu cels. This is the only cel I have of this shinma, and what I really want would be one of her in her shinma form. Alas, I've never seen one. Most people don't even recognize the minor shinma and thus I rarely see them for sale. If anyone reading has a cel they believe might be one of the Miyu shinma, feel free to write me. If it is a shinma, I'll identify it for you! |

| Garline. I had to do it. After watching these cels relisted to death for a rock-bottom price, I had to eventually go get them. I already have one other cel of Garline from this sequence, but the three are all very different from each other. I like to "see" the motion as he moves to attack Miyu. Like my first, these both came with their matching sketches, although they had become stuck to the cels and were slightly damaged during removal. Amusingly, these two cels together cost about what the first one did... and the first one is (was? ^_^) among my five cheapest cels ever. | ||
